Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chili is a little spicy and lot of sweet! Approximately 4+ years old as of July 2024, she’s a mixed-breed pooch with plenty of terrier in her genes. She has a stunning white coat with a few tan patches. She has big, expressive eyes. But her most beautiful quality is her loving personality. She wiggles like a puppy in anticipation of human attention.
Chili had been adopted in the past, but her people could no longer give her the time, attention, and care that she deserves. Accustomed to living with a family, this sweet girl is very sad at the shelter, where she spends too much time alone in her kennel. Always happy to be close to a person, she craves the kind of human companionship she once knew.
She is very selective about her animal friends. Though she loves to play with shelter resident Freddy, she'snot reliable around all dogs. Chili also doesn't like cats, so she may do best as an only pet.
Chili is a fairly high activity girl who gets excited, but once she's able to burn off some of her extra energy—playing in the yard—she's the perfect lap dog. She's sweet, loving, and fast to bond. Chili is ideal for a family with a fenced yard and kids 7+ years old.
After so much time in the shelter, she's become wary of taking walks outside the shelter gate. But she used to enjoy this recreation time and will again once she becomes accustomed to a new family and routine.
Chili was overweight when she arrived at the shelter, but she's regained her athletic physique. (She's slimmer and cuter than her pictures show.) This beauty is up to date on shots, spayed, and waiting to meet you.
