Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tilly. She is a purebred, red standard poodle. She turns 2 this coming December 2023.
She weighs exactly 40 lbs. Yes, she is full grown, and at a healthy weight.
She is spayed, current on vaccines, chipped, had a dental cleaning done, both ears plucked, flushed, and examined, had X-rays done on her front legs/shoulders as we observed her favoring her right leg a bit prior to surgery. The X-rays didn't show anything worrisome whatsoever, and everything looked as great as we had hoped for. Our vet said it was more likely from a pulled/strained muscle from running in the yard, and will feel better soon.
She's house trained, and is great about going outside to use the restroom. She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night, or when we have to step out of the home for any given amount of time. Aside from that she has free roam of our home, and does wonderful. She is learning leash confidence at the moment, and is doing much better at it every day. She is not bad on leash, she just unfortunately never was walked anywhere in her prior home, so it's brand new to her, and in time she will learn the beauty it leads her to. She is very good on road trips, and listens very well at the groomers.
She is phenomenal with all dogs and cats alike.
She is very sweet with people, just a bit shy when she first meets anyone but once she warms up to you, she won't leave your side ❤️
She is not a barker at all, and is very quiet all around.
She is calm, loving, sweet, and looking for someone who will lead her through the next trek of her adoption journey that leads her all the way home ❤️
Her prior family could no longer afford her care, and didn't want her to go without, so they reached out to us here to take her in.
Adoption fee along with its breakdown is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org
