Meet Jasper!!!
Jasper is a 2 year old Mixed Breed. Jasper is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and kennel trained. Jasper was found at City Park in Baton Rouge with his collar and leash attached. He was microchipped and because of that, we were able to find out that his previous owners dumped him there. He is extremely affectionate and loves nothing more than to be by your side, whether it's cuddling with you on the couch or following you as walk around the house. He gets along with his current housemate (a 4.5 year-old female dobermann), but might be better suited as the only dog in the house because he likes to be the center of your attention. He does resource guard his things around other dogs (toys & food). Jasper does okay on leash but does still pull sometimes. He is very food motivated and eager to please, so training him shouldn't be an issue. He already knows how to sit. Jasper does well with people and children but is not suited for a home with cats. Please consider opening your heart & home to Jasper!
