My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rosey! This adorable 2-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart is looking for her forever home. Rosey is house-trained, crate-trained, and described as "the sweetest baby you've ever met." She's incredibly loving towards people and is eager to learn. She loves cuddling and kisses. However, Rosey does best in a home without other animals, as she can get a bit anxious around other animals. If you have a loving heart and a peaceful home ready to welcome this beautiful girl, you might be the perfect match! To adopt Rosey and give her the loving home she deserves, please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org. Let's make Rosey's dream of a forever home come true!

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
