My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I’m Sabrina, a lively five-year-old pitbull and blue heeler mix. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I’m currently thriving in my foster home, soaking up new experiences like a sponge! I’m friendly with both cats and dogs, as long as we have the right introductions. You can’t miss my charming smile and my adorable blocky head! My favorite activities include evening strolls, chasing after balls, enjoying car rides, snuggling up on the bed, and showering my humans with kisses. On the flip side, I’m not too keen on sharing my squeaky toys, taking medicine, or getting my nails trimmed, but I’m making progress and getting used to it all. I’ve mastered commands like sit, stay, leave it, no touch, down, off, shake, and up. I’m an energetic girl who also loves to cuddle and can stay calm in a crate or kennel, though I’d much rather be curled up on a big, fluffy blanket on the bed. Food and I are best friends and I’m learning to share my toys. I thrive on attention and am a quick learner, so I’m on the lookout for a forever home that will be patient and continue my training. Could that be you? Please fill out an application:   https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159

The adoption fee includes up to date on vaccines (except Bordetella), vet evaluation, de-worming, microchip, spay/neuter if the pet is old enough. If the pet is too young, adopters must fill out a spay/neuter agreement and provide a $100.00 refundable deposit. If we do not get proof of spay/neuter by the time the dog is six months old, our contract states that we may reclaim the dog.

More about this rescue

Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue started as an independent rescue. Lisa Clark our founder started networking dogs in high kill shelters through Facebook, in 2012. She knew that rescue was the path her life was going to take. Little Dobby was the first dog that was rescued from a shelter under what we know today as Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue -and that's when the Lisa decided to officially start a rescue. Without much money in the bank, she filed for and was approved as a federal 501(c)3 non-profit charity.

IPFP is an all foster rescue. Without foster homes and donations, lives cannot be saved. Currently IPFP has 20+ fosters in WA and Or and they are always looking for loving homes to join the family.
