Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lucas! This beautiful boy is between 1.5 and 2 yrs old, he is 45 lbs.
Lucas was found on the streets with no ID tag or microchip. We suspect he got out of his home and got lost. His family couldn't be located despite efforts to find them.
He was taken to the Vet for vaccinations, neuter surgery, blood work, and microchipping. He is healthy and happy.
Since his rescue, he has been living with his rescuers/fosters. The family has 2 other dogs and Lucas gets along great with them.
Lucas is very friendly, full of energy, playful, requires lots of stimulation. Gets along with people of all ages.
He LOVES to go out on walks and runs, he is super agile and smart. He is not food aggressive.
He loves treats y toys. The foster discovered that he gets his feelings hurt when she mistakenly threw a toy for him to fetch but hit him instead (it was a soft toy), he thought the toy was aimed at him instead. Please be mindful of this.
He sleeps in the living room in his bed with blankets. He goes potty outdoors. He does not like crates, he gets stressed out and cries if confined.
He "talks" to her foster to let her know when he gets hungry. He is funny!
Lucas has to go to a family that is active, as this guy will need a couple of walks/runs per day. Please keep in mind that Aussie Shepherds are active and energetic, love playtime, exhibit an impulse to herd anything. If you are looking for a brainy, active, and trainable partner for work or sport, this is the dog for you.
