What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Ash (brother) and Nala (sister) were foster kittens left on a doorstep in a box with their other brother and parents when they were just a month old. They have been raised by a loving family with a newborn child and 10 year old terrier mix dog for a year and a half. Nala and Ash are both very loving towards humans, cats, and dogs and prefer a traditional sand litter box (no pellets or fancy/expensive machinery — we tried).
Ash is an “Alpha” so if you have other cats or dogs in the home, he will assert his dominance by swatting with his paw (no claws) and hissing but will generally coexist peacefully. Ash and Nala do not require any extensive maintenance besides meeting their basic needs such as being fed in the morning and at night and to make sure the litter box is cleaned daily. Ash is heavier set so we have been decreasing his intake and monitoring feedings as he tends to overeat Nala’s portion.
**Nala and Ash must be adopted together. Cat carrier included!**
