My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Van! This little guy came to us after a friend of our one of our volunteers discovered that he was being kept in a not-so-great situation :( No one seems to know what happened to his ear, but it's healed over and doesn't bother him in the slightest! He is approximately 4 months old (as of December 12, 2023) and is some sort of hound mix.

His foster home has taught him out to sit and is working on leash manners, house training, and crate training. He catches on really fast (for a treat ;) ) , although he does get loud in a crate at times, so an apartment or condo might not be the right fit for him. He has been improving in this area as he gets older, though. He is curious about cats, but never aggressive.

Adoption fee for Van is $400 and with that, he will come vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He also has been on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, as well as been dewormed.
