Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Daisy, a beautiful and devoted Pit Bull. I’m 3 years old, 50 lbs, and brown and white in color. I’m looking for my forever home where I can be your faithful and loving companion.
I’m a resilient and affectionate girl who loves to cuddle and sleep. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I’m healthy and happy. I’m a people lover who loves to ride in the car with you. I’m strong, beautiful, and deserve love and the right home.
I’m a special girl who has been through hell and needs a family to help me break this chain of misfortune in my life. I don’t need a guardian; I need an army of guardian angels to keep me safe for the rest of my life. I was kept on a chain left to protect myself against other dominant dogs, sent to a high kill shelter, and left in boarding for six lonely months. Someone finally adopted me only to turn around and try to sell me as a bait dog in fighting rings. I have been failed so many times, I can’t let that happen again.
I need a home with no other dogs or someone who will work with me carefully to integrate me. I’m dog reactive toward other dogs at first, but I can get along with them once I trust them. I am quite playful with other dogs once I know they won’t hurt me. I need a fenced yard, as I can’t be walked or taken to dog parks. I love to be inside the home sleeping, snuggling or just hanging with my humans. I hope you can understand and accept me for who I am. I would greatly benefit from a family who is willing to invest in training to help me regain my confidence after all I have been through. We don’t know how I feel about cats, but I can be cat tested if you’d like.
I’m a good, loving dog who needs a family to show me that not all humans are bad. Let’s find me a warm home with plenty of love and room to rest my weary head. I’m currently in Millington, TN, where potential adopters will need to come meet me. Please contact my rescue if you are interested in me and let’s get to know each other. I can’t wait to meet you!
