Meet Luna Lou: Your Future Furry BFF!
Name: Luna Lou
Age: 4 years old
Disposition: Cute, cuddly, and full of personality!
KIDS UNDER 12: Luna Lou gets pretty anxious around little ones, maybe because they aren't much taller than her. So she'd rather live in a home with full-size humans.
OTHER PETS: Luna Lou's motto: "I'm fabulous, but I prefer to be an only child." She'd rather not share her cozy spot on the couch or her human's lap with other pets.
ALONE TIME: Luna Lou wants to be with her family at all times, so she's not a fan of being left home alone for too long. But if you have to leave her alone, she likes listening to the radio.
CAR RIDES: Luna Lou's idea of heaven! Buckle up, because she's always ready for an adventure. Windows down, tongue out-she's the ultimate road trip companion.
VACUUMS: Luna Lou's sworn enemies! Those noisy vacuum cleaners don't stand a chance when she's on duty. She'll protect your home from the evil dust bunnies!
BIRDS & SQUIRELLS: Luna Lou is an avid birdwatcher and squirrel supervisor. She'll sit by the window, almost overly excited, and let those feathered and furry critters know who's boss with her enthusiastic barks.
VET VISITS: Luna Lou insists on being carried into the vet's office like the royalty she is. This helps her not get nervous if she sees other animals in the waiting room.
BATH TIME: Luna Lou's secret talent? Becoming a statue during bath time. But hey, she'll tolerate it because she knows it makes her smell like a million bucks afterward!
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Luna Lou's favorite bedtime ritual? Burrowing under the covers with her people. She'll keep your toes warm and your heart full.
POTTY TRAINING: Luna Lou is doing her best to be a good girl. Sometimes accidents happen, but she's committed to mastering the art of outdoor potty breaks!
SENSATIVE TUMMY: Luna Lou appreciates gourmet human food, but her tummy prefers the predictability of kibble. She's not a foodie; she's a pragmatist!
NAIL TRIMS: Drama queen alert! Luna Lou's nail trims are Oscar-worthy performances. Expect theatrics, but she'll forgive you afterward with a snuggle.
If you're ready for car rides, cuddles, and a whole lot of Luna Lou love, she's waiting for her forever home! Adopt this quirky, lovable girl, and you'll have a loyal companion for life.
DISCLAIMER: Luna Lou reserves the right to demand belly rubs at any time.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
