My story

Carman's adoption is pending.

Carman is a 4 year old Boston Terrier, new to our rescue along with her buddy Juni. They were turned in by their family who no longer had time for them. Carman is AKC Registered, will come with her signed papers and was named by the family's children - after the "Spy Kids"

Carman is a very happy gal who just craves attention! She loves nothing more than cuddling up in your lap ... although lazing around on the couch is a close second :)

She is a little chunky, weighing in around 25lbs.

Though not a requirement, we would prefer to find a home for Carman and her buddy Juni where they could stay together.

FAQ's
Adoption donations are $150 for mixed dogs, $200 for purebreds and puppies. Donations are tax deductible and help with the vet expenses including but not limited to :
*spayed/neutered
*heartworm tested, treated if need be, placed on monthly preventative
*internal parasite treatment if necessary
*flea treament if necessary, placed on monthly preventative
*vaccinations
*microchip

Adoptions out of the area are permitted. A volunteer from another rescue in your area may be contacted to help with the homevisit. Animals will not be shipped or transported; the approved adopter must arrange to pick up their new family member.

Foster to Adopt is a 2 week program to help everyone find the best matched pet. Approved adopters may take home a pet for 2 weeks for a non-refundable donation of $25. Should you choose to keep the pet, the $25 will go towards the adoption donation. This program is only open to adopters within a three hour drive of Take 2 Rescue.
