Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***FOSTER TO ADOPT (FTA) NEEDED FOR DIAMOND***
Hi my name is Diamond and I'm a year old. I am a special girl just so you know. I can go faster and jump higher than my foster sister Tinkerbell and I eat faster and I get the best lap to lay in and I really like playing with my toys and showing off my squeaky bone to Tinkerbell. I am a color-changing dog. I bet you didn't know that! I am all black but when the sun shines on me through the window, I am brown! It's a trick with my undercoat, don't tell anybody. My coat is especially shiny because Dad likes to make things with his Olive Oils of the World Christmas collection and afterward we get to lick the pan IF there's no onion or stuff that is bad for us. Everyone tells us how pretty we are!
I like to run around with Tinkerbell because she loves fetch so much. She will fetch, fetch, fetch, fetch, fetch, and I carry my squeaky toy and show her where the ball went so she can get it and we do that a few times back and forth to the porch. Just between us I get bored after a few times so I drop my squeaky bone and beat her to the ball and we play keepaway which is good for Tinkerbell even if she doesn't act like she likes it. I know she likes playing with me. And even if she doesn't it makes me happy and I know I'm so cute! It makes me wag real big just thinking about it.
I know lots and lots of words! I know SIT really good because you get treats when you sit. And I know BACK-BACK but I don't always back-back when I put my nose on my foster mama's laptop because she's been looking at it too long and its my turn to be the lap topper. I also know GET YOUR TOY and LEAVE THE BALL ALONE and DROP THE BALL. But I don't drop the ball, hee hee. Some people just don't understand keepaway, do they?
I am SO smart I can put the toys away. I put the balls where Tinkerbell can't find them because that way she will just forget about it for awhile. I put the balls on the windowsill behind the couch and on the other side of the guest bed, and behind the dresser, and once in the toilet but Mama said NO NO NO so I don't do that one no more. I am also learning how to ride in a car without being TOO scared, and I also went to the dog park and all the dogs were scary but I went behind the benches and snuck up to all the peoples and gave them each a little lick to let everyone know I'm the nice one. Then I ran a few times with dogs who were fetching but I didn't play keepaway because probably too soon right? I just showed what a good friend I am.
ISO a little boy or girl who will play and roll around with me and is ok with lots of licks. I prefer great BIG licks but I will just do mini-licks if you don't like to be licked. I also want a mama and/or daddy who knows that lap time is a big part of the day and you shouldn't miss it, ever. Never-ever.
I go potty outside and I can sleep in my crate or on the couch at night, either way. I am mostly good about not eating things I shouldn't, but if I find a big stick or a nice piece of lumber I'm very proud of myself and show people how good it chews. But then people get all weird and take it away where I can't see it no more.
Please call me if you want to get together and meet up, especially if you need lots of lovins because I am full of lovins and I am happy to share.
