Meet Woofie!

This fabulous boy came to us after his owner passed away and left him and 6 other dogs behind on their rural property. Woofie had to make a big adjustment and has been in one of our foster homes for the past few months. He is a gem! We're not quite sure what his breed mix is, but he looks to be a working dog breed mix.

Woofie needs a home with another dog who will engage with him. He needs a secure fenced yard and an owner who is active.

This goofy and food-driven dog loves nothing more than going on daily walks, runs, and car rides, or hitting up the dog park for some bunny hopping and socializing with other dogs.

Woofie is a pro at sitting, shaking, laying down, and even giving big bear hugs on demand. If you're feeling down, he'll be there to cheer you up with his biggest smile and warm embraces. However, don't underestimate his need for attention and human presence, as he can get a bit anxious when left alone for too long.

This friendly pooch is also a cat-lover, so any feline friends you have at home will be in good company. Woofie doesn't do well in confined spaces, and kennel training has proven challenging. He needs a big yard with tall fences (over 6ft tall) to keep him from jumping out and exploring on his own.

Finally, as a puppy, Woofie still has lots to learn and will need some patience and training to keep his mind and body occupied.
