My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Murphy is a kid at heart with a sweet personality and LOTS of energy. We rescued him from a difficult backyard situation thus he had no manners or boundaries at the time.

Our training program was perfect for him as it gave him the structure and guidance he needs to be a good boy. He's already made a lot of progress with his basic obedience commands and social & listening skills.

He will require room to run and exercise on a daily basis. He is an active doodle who loves to play and go on walks and hikes. He we would do best with an experienced dog owner who has older kids (or none), and no cats or other dogs because Murphy likes to be the center of attention. He likes to play with other dogs who can meet his level of play in a supervised setting like doggie daycare.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees are used to rescue other amazing dogs from overcrowded shelters and provide them with a second chance at an amazing life.

Please fill out and submit an adoption application so we can contact you to set up a “meet and greet appointment.”

All of our dogs participate in an 8-10 week basic obedience training program, using positive reinforcement techniques. They are crate and potty trained, learn all their basic manners, are fully vaccinated, microchipped and spay/neutered. We also learn a lot about our dogs’ personalities and temperament which helps to ensure successful adoptions.

Go meet their pets

The dogs are being trained and live with their “program trainers” at local correctional facilities, so special arrangements need be made to meet the dogs.

Please complete our adoption application by visiting our web site: https://www.celldogs.org/adopt-a-dog/

For more information on our program or available dogs, please visit our website or email us at info@celldogs.org

More about this rescue

We rescue dogs from local shelters and enroll them in a 10 week Cell Dogs Training Program at local juvenile and adult correctional facilities. Upon graduating from the program, the dogs are lovingly adopted into their “fur-ever” homes. In addition to saving the lives of wonderful shelter dogs, our program helps rehabilitate incarcerated youth and adults as they learn key life and career skills, which help them become better individuals when they return to the community.
