Hello rescue lovers, my name is Serene Sandy and I am an 11 month old Shepherd mix girl that is only 40lbs right now and probably not going to be over 45 pounds as an adult. I am a snuggly gal, that is calm and boy do I love kisses, I am super playful and I like to show off how fast I can run and jump, which is really high too. My favorite game is “tug a toy “and during this pretty Fall, I sometimes try to catch leaves as they fall from the trees, but then I get distracted when I see an airplane or a bird, Yup, you got it I'm a silly, goofy gal too! I am crate trained, potty trained, and I am working on my leash skills. (I get so excited that I always want to run and play), I know some basic commands and I am up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. I get along well with other dogs, and people of all ages. I have not been around cats or other small animals. I am looking for my forever home. but I am a curious climber out of the fenced yard, so a privacy fence would work well unless you have me on a leash when outside with you. I am a curious, calm, goofy girl with a ton of curiosity that leads me to great adventures! Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website.
