My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darius is a very special boy. He is a huge favorite of the shelter staff and volunteers! Darius is very affectionate, well behaved and playful. He is also gentle, social and very smart. This loving fellow gets along with other dogs and people. We do not know what he thinks of cats. So with all that he has going for him, everyone, (including Darius), cannot figure out why adopters keep passing him by. We all love Darius and would be very sad to see him leave but we want him to live his life in a home and as part of a wonderful family. Darius is about 10-11 months old and 42 pounds. Please help Darius find the loving home he deserves.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event.

Darius' adoption fee is $200. This also covers all age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, vetting & microchipping.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
