Meet Luna: The Goofy Outdoor Enthusiast!

Luna is a vibrant, energetic gal who's always ready for adventure! Her happiest moments are spent outdoors, where she can sniff every scent, hike new trails, roll around in the grass, and sprint across the yard with a huge smile on her face. She's got a zest for life that's truly infectious!

Luna is looking for a home where she can be the queen of the house, meaning she prefers to be the only animal. However, once she's settled, she has the potential to make a few dog friends. Luna's got her basic cues down and is house-trained, but she's still working on her leash skills. That's why a fenced-in backyard would be perfect for this lively girl to run and play to her heart's content.

If you're ready for endless outdoor fun and a little goofiness in your life, Luna is waiting to join your family!

Luna is an All-Star dog! Her adoption appointment includes a discussion with our Training Team, and she will go home with her very own no pull-harness and a few enrichment goodies to help get her off to a good start! Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (6 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

Anderson Humane is a resource for pet owners, providing information and services to provide better care for their pets. Services such as our Low-Cost Vaccination, Dental, and Spay/Neuter Clinics offer affordable veterinary care options, preventing owners from having to give up their pets simply because they can’t afford care. On the horizon are additional programs to keep pets in homes, such as a pet food pantry, affordable pet training options, and temporary housing for pets when families are in crisis.
