I adopted Sage from a family member 3 years ago as they needed to rehome one of their pets. Sage is one of the most affectionate dogs I have met, and I wanted to keep her in the family, so I opted to adopt her. She is now almost 4 years old. There is no one Sage doesn't love (though there are a few people she's had to warm up to initially), and once she realizes you'll give her physical affection, she will not leave your side. Her affection is also for other dogs as she as never been in a fight with, and all she wishes to do is play with new friends.
Sage is incredibly smart and responds to many commands. She's very food-motivated. She knows "on you bed" as her place; she'll go to her kennel when hearing "house"; and she knows multiple tricks.
My wife and I have decided to rehome her because we have a new baby which is taking all of our attention, and we just cannot give Sage the love and care she needs. Sage took to our new baby very well.
