My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello rescue lovers, my name is Serene Sandy and I am an 11 month old Shepherd mix girl that is only 40lbs right now and probably not going to be over 45 pounds as an adult. I am a snuggly gal, that is calm and boy do I love kisses, I am super playful and I like to show off how fast I can run and jump, which is really high too.  My favorite game is “tug a toy “and during this pretty Fall, I sometimes try to catch leaves as they fall from the trees, but then I get distracted when I see an airplane or a bird, Yup, you got it I'm a silly, goofy gal too! I am crate trained, potty trained, and am working on my leash skills. (I get so excited that I always want to run and play), I know some basic commands and I am up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. I get along well with other dogs, and people of all ages. I have not been around cats or other small animals. I am looking for my forever home. but I am a curious climber out of the fenced yard,  so a privacy fence would work well unless you have me on a leash when outside with you.   I am a curious, calm, goofy girl with a ton of curiosity that leads me to great adventures! If you are looking for a playful, loving, adventurous girl, look no further because I am the answer to your dog search! Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
