Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Trapper is a 2-year-old, medium-sized boy that that enjoys going on walks, but what does he really LOVE? You guessed it, toys and treats! Trapper plays well with other dogs of similar size and energy. We are unsure of Trapper's full story as he was a pull from our local municipal shelter this past November. Although he is hesitant around new people (can you blame him?) once he warms up to you this shy boy is as sweet as can be! He will need someone who is willing to give him time and patience to come out of his shell! At this time, we think Trapper would do best in a home without cats or young children. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention medicine. Apply to adopt him at ghhs.org!

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.
If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.
Some animals may require a home inspection.
Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
