Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Slippery Alma (Alma) would love to be your new friend! At 8yo, Alma, one of our shy kitties, has come out of her shell and is ready to make the move to her forever home.
Alma has blossomed in the care of her foster dad and waits by the door for him to get home from work, brightening up when he walks inside and giving him a warm hello. She'll frequently sit on his lap while he reads and likes being close, often lying alongside him, in bed. Alma enjoys caresses and head scratches and will head tap her dad to remind him. She will also rub herself on his legs, her way of saying, 'I like you' - high praise indeed! One of Alma's favorite pastimes is sunbathing and she'll seek out the sunniest spot in the house in which to do so.
This laid back, quiet girl is still shy with unfamiliar people and is looking for a patient, loving adopter who will give her time to open up and adjust in her new home. She'll do best in a quiet, calm adult household where she may shine as the only pet. Alma cannot wait to meet you!
