Meet Shani, a resilient female brown tabby with a heartwarming story. Rescued at approximately one year old while pregnant, Shani embodies strength and love. Despite her challenging start, she's not only overcome being homeless, but has also embraced motherhood with grace, raising six adorable kittens. Shani is a beacon of affection, showcasing a gentle spirit that seeks companionship. She will come sit in your lap and look for kisses. With a nurturing nature and a captivating story, Shani is ready to bring warmth and joy to a forever home.

Shani was born around August 27, 2022. She is currently being fostered in Woodbridge. She is fixed, is up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*.

All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.

We are a foster-based rescue. All our cats reside in private homes. A meet-and-greet can be arranged for approved adopters only.

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.fosterandforever.org. If all is well on your application, we will contact you about setting up a home visit by one of our volunteers.

**Please give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references.

The adoption fee for our cats covers the cost of spaying/neutering, age appropriate routine vaccinations, deworming, snap test, and flea preventive treatment. Some of our older cats are offered at a reduced fee in order to encourage placement in a permanent home.

All of our pets reside in foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Once an application is approved (for any cat), arrangements can be made to meet the cat of your choice.

Foster and Forever Pet Rescue Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue that was founded in 2011. We have been working since then to improve the lives of abandoned, abused and homeless animals by serving as an umbrella under which foster homes will provide care for homeless animals until loving permanent homes can be found.

We provide spay/neuter services and all necessary medical care, as well as food and supplies, and find foster homes to care for the animals we rescue until we are able to find them forever homes.
