Thumper loves a run, so if you’re looking for a jogging companion or someone to take long walks with, then Thumper’s your man. Everyone comments on how handsome he is – he’s a real head turner. He’s also very loyal! Thumper is a big boy, but he doesn't know that he will still try to cozy up on your lap

Thumper says: I'm a goofy bundle of enthusiasm, so I need to join a family with adults or older respectful children. I still get excited and jump up on people.

* 2 yrs old, 70 lbs, Male, Dutch Shepherd mix, Neutered, Up to date on Vaccines & Microchipped

* Loves dogs: Females & Altered Males

* Loves watching airplanes when he's outside. Loves playing fetch but only if you trade with another ball

* Kennel trained : Sleeps over night in the kennel & is kenneled when he is alone at home & Potty trained

Adoption applications for our pups and cats can be found using this link: https://www.amazingstraysrescue.org/forms-applications

2. Interview
If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

3. Home check
After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

4. Meet the pet
The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.
Amazing Strays Rescue knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but most importantly, through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2018, realized that by working with Shelters we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Amazing Strays Rescue.
