My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At first, she will appear shy and timid. However, once she comes out of her shell, she loves laying across your lap, playing, and being in your presence. Considering her history, a perfect home for her would be somewhere quiet with no kids, only 1 or 2 adults, no other pets, and 100% indoors. Living with other cats triggers a condition in her called stress cystitis, which is something she battles in her current situation, but I know a new, perfect home for her is the solution.

She’s not aggressive and will only appear mean if she is frightened and cornered, but running and hiding is always her first choice. She is easily frightened and anxious, but she’s very sweet and cuddly when she is able to relax. She is also very proper and well behaved. She rarely jumps up on tables or claws anything, and if she does, a simple command like, "no" or "leave it" will get her to stop. Overall, if you’re looking for a low energy, sweet, well-behaved cat, Poke is the one for you.
