Sammy!

Sammy is a 5 year old boxer mix. She is happy, energetic, and eager to please like most boxers.  Sammy has had extensive training with a couple trainers and does well with commands. She knows to stay in her yard and one of her favorite things to do is go to Grandma's to run in the fields and woods. She loves people and will soak up all the attention you can give her. She plays well with other dogs in structured play but is unable to manage her resource guarding well enough to live with other dogs. Sammy has been with the same family since she was 12 weeks old so there is a lot of information to share about her. Sammy is looking for a new home due to the circumstances of her current family and how those do not provide Sammy with the home she deserves. As mentioned, Sammy does resource guard (food, toys, bed) with other dogs so would need to be the only dog in the home. While she loves kids she isn't very aware of how she can knock over a toddler or small children so please 5 years old and up.
