My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Halli was rescued from a local shelter 2 days before "Halliween". She is a precious, loving, playful 1yo, 8lb. Schnoodle who was brought in as a stray. She was well groomed and had on a brand-new collar when we rescued her. Whoever owned her originally loved her and took good care of her.

Halli loves to run around the back yard and play. She is potty trained and crate trained. She loves to play with toys and chew on bones and goat horns. She gets all her toys and chew things out of the toy box, one by one, and jumps up with each one on the couch. Then she gets another one and another one until finally the toy box is almost empty and she has all her "things" on the couch. Halli gets along well with other dogs but needs a young small dog to play with. Old dogs will get annoyed with her puppy insistence on playing.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.

All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
