My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MOONER and BB are a special pair of bonded male teenager kittens. BB is a dashing silver tabby with a stubby tail, who embodies courage, curiosity, and an insatiable zest for play. His bravery knows no bounds as he fearlessly explores every nook and cranny, always ready for the next adventure. On the other paw, we have MOONER, the sleek and mysterious black panther kitten. Initially reserved, Mooner’s heart opens like a flower in bloom once he feels comfortable. His timid nature melts away to reveal an affectionate and loving soul. A true cuddle connoisseur, Mooner seeks out cozy laps to snuggle into and purr contentedly. Individually, they’re stars, but together, BB and Mooner create a whirlwind of excitement and joy. Their favorite pastime is chasing anything that moves, from feathered wands to strings. But even when left to their own devices, their playful antics keep them entertained, engaging in adorable wrestling matches and playful chases. These inseparable best friends are on the lookout for that one special home that’s bursting with love, playfulness, and cuddles. Are you ready to invite this dynamic duo into your life and watch as they fill your days with laughter, love, and endless entertainment?

MOONER and BB have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet them in foster care, please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $280 adoption fee for the bonded pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
