Meet Cooper, a super-duper Yorkie! Cooper is 2.5 years old and weighs in at a stout 14 lbs. He was surrendered by no fault of his own. Cooper is very active and really loves to run around in a yard or play tug of war. He knows a few commands and is eager to learn more in his future home. Cooper is housetrained already too! Cooper is a little fearful around new people and will bark at them, and he experiences some separation anxiety with left alone. He also needs to be calmed with light sedatives (Trazadone and Gabapentin) when groomed. Cooper is open to meeting other dogs and can be cat-tested. We think Cooper would be fine around older children who can give him space and understand his needs when he’s getting nervous. Act fast if you think Cooper is the guy for you!
