My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marco is a petite orange tabby with an estimated date of birth of 11/20/2020. He is a gentle soul who can often be found sitting on the couch headrest, his tail gently tapping his foster's head. Marco is food-motivated, therefore, mealtime provided a great opportunity to gain his trust and introduce him to his home. Picking him up and walking around with him also helped to build trust. Loving pets and gentle talking has built a bond of love with his foster family.

Marco often falls asleep purring nose-to-nose with his human foster brother. When not relaxing and snuggling, Marco loves to play with rattling balls and his feather boa. He enjoys basking in the sun and observing his surroundings from one of his perches.

Marco was rescued from the south side of Chicago by one of our volunteers. It was immediately apparent that he would do well in a loving home. He was rescued, vetted and taken to a loving foster home where he was well fed, loved and nurtured. Due to experiences with other cats while on the street, Marco needs to be the only cat in his home.

All animals are already spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, micro-chipped, de-wormed and have all necessary shots. They are ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $175.00.
