My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

- Confident, well-mannered boy who loves people.
- He's a big fan of cuddling and will happily snuggle up at home.
- Enjoys long walks and is always up for a game of fetch, especially with his ball.
- Gets along well during one-on-one doggy playdates, but prefers to be the only pet in the home to soak up all the love and attention.
- An affectionate companion who balances playtime and relaxation perfectly.

More about this rescue

Paws For Life K9 Rescue pulls its dogs from city and county shelters. Often, we choose dogs in need of socialization and training which we place with our incarcerated trainers throughout California State Prisons.
We do this because they can dedicate all of their time to their rehabilitation. After several months of training, our dogs are ready for family life after completing their AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. Some are trained to become service animals for military veterans with PTSD. By lowering euthanasia rates and preparing dogs for service-jobs, PFL is proving that everyone deserves a second chance.
