My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fomo is a people-loving boy who thrives on affection and attention. He'll often seek out snuggles and pets, making him the perfect companion if you're looking for a dog who loves to be by your side. His favorite thing in the world? Playing fetch! Fomo will do anything for a ball and could play for hours if you let him.

He's also been an amazing front office dog with our staff, always happy to greet visitors and brighten everyone's day. Fomo would love to be your one and only animal at home, where he can get all your love and attention.

More about this rescue

Paws For Life K9 Rescue pulls its dogs from city and county shelters. Often, we choose dogs in need of socialization and training which we place with our incarcerated trainers throughout California State Prisons.
We do this because they can dedicate all of their time to their rehabilitation. After several months of training, our dogs are ready for family life after completing their AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. Some are trained to become service animals for military veterans with PTSD. By lowering euthanasia rates and preparing dogs for service-jobs, PFL is proving that everyone deserves a second chance.
