If you're looking to offer a second chance and a forever home to a loving soul who's endured hardship, then look no further. Meet our incredible 2-year-old male Pit mix named Milo. Mio came to the shelter from a neglected life, but he is doing great and is ready to find his forever home. Milo is friendly, fun, and has a secret desire - to be a lap dog! Once he feels secure in your presence, he'll happily curl up in your lap, bask in your warmth, and relish every moment of affection. He longs to be your loyal and loving companion. Our special friend is seeking a patient and understanding family or individual who can provide a safe and loving environment. A calm and nurturing home where he can rebuild his trust and continue to flourish would be ideal. Apply to adopt striking Milo at heberspringshumanesociety.com
Milo’s adoption fee is $100.00 and includes first shots, worming, and sterilization. Optional microchipping and registration is available for an additional $20.00. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs if needed. Fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com and a volunteer will contact you. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.

More about this shelter
Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns in Cleburne County. We work very hard keeping animals happy and healthy. We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
