My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FPrecious little Lukie is 9 yrs old and weighs 11 lbs.

Lukie was brought to his local municipal shelter to be euthanized because he needed extensive dental care. This beautiful little gem had only 7 very rotten teeth and only one salvageable front bottom tooth left in his mouth. All others had fallen on their own. The pain he must have endured over several years must have been excruciating. He was not neutered and had no record of vaccination. Within 4 days of his arrival in our rescue's care, his dental care was done, he was neutered and vaccinated. He looks and is feeling like a million dollars!
Lukie is a very healthy little dog, so alert, and so smart. He had so much life left in him and he definitely shows that he enjoys every minute of it. This sweetheart has an exceptionally awesome temperament all around. So loving, yet undemanding, he quietly watches his foster mom's every move while laying on his dog bed. He loves to cuddle close to her on the sofa. He loves food and going for walks: he gets so excited when he sees his leash and even helps putting his harness on. He is a charm to walk and to groom. He is also housebroken. He is good with other dogs and very friendly towards humans. Because he is a small dog, we will only consider adoptive families with teenage children, if any. Very good little dog, precious as gold, this is what handsome Lukie is all about. What is there not to love about this precious little guy! He is as close to perfection as can be!
