My story

Bella is a sweet cat that loves to cuddle. Although we are not sure how old she is, we are assuming that she's about 7-8 years old. She is a rescue, so the animal hospital we adopted her from had to guess her age when we adopted her. She was adopted from an animal hospital in Shorewood, IL and we noticed that she must have come from an abusive environment because she was very timid and shy. When we first brought her home about six years ago it took her a few weeks to come out of hiding. Now, all she wants is to be rubbed and cozy up next to a warm body. Unfortunately, we lead very busy lives and are barely home. This is very traumatic to a cat that needs attention. We are looking for a home that will appreciate her need for attention and affection. It does take a little time for her to get used to new people, so when guests come over, she may hide initially, but once she gets to know you, you better be prepared to rub her!
