My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

For all you frosted faces lovers we would like to introduce you to our very good boy Rocky. He is looking for his forever home. He wants a nice retirement home to live out the rest of his life, enjoying the comforts of a nice bed, good treats and lots of pets and he'll even be a lap dog if you let him.
Rocky is estimated to be 9 to 10 years young. We believe he is a Rottweiler/Hound mix. He is neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He is a larger guy weighing in around 80 pounds. He would do well to lose some weight and is working on that in his current foster home. He is a quiet guy and has been a very good boy in his foster home.
Rocky enjoys to be with his people when in the house and may keep track of you. When he is left alone he has had no issues in the house and will lay down and take a nap. Rocky's hound dog tendencies come out when he is outside enjoying all the smells. He can be a little stubborn when he is onto a good scent. He has done well meeting other dogs and is excited to meet new friends. We don't know how he is with cats or small animals, however he is a very docile dog that with proper introduction we assume he would be just fine.
He warmed his way into all our volunteers hearts and we want him to have the best end of life possible. If you are interested in adopting Rocky please fill out our adoption application.
