Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Landon is a 4 year old, 18 lb Miniature Schnauzer. He came to us with juvenile cataracts that we have since had surgically repaired. The recovery time for this surgery took months but it was well worth it for our sweet boy to have his vision back. Landon's foster mom was having to give him 26 eye drops a day, and now he is down to just one drop twice a week.
Landon loves to play with other dogs his size and play with toys. He has a schnauzer foster brother who he snuggles with and spends most of the day with. He is very snuggly, affectionate, and has never met a stranger. He also does fine with large dogs as well. Landon does have a bit of a prey drive, so a cat free home is necessary for him. Landon is crate-trained and knows how to leash walk.
Landon does have to continue going to the eye doctor due to his surgery for pressure checks. He had his surgery at Animal Eye Specialists PC in Marietta, and they know him very well. The vet is not certain what his eye care will look like long term given so many factors come into play, however, Landon has done well. It is possible he could need no eye drops long term or just one or two a day. It is also possible he could develop other eye issues in the future such as glaucoma, so he needs a home prepared to care for anything that comes.
Landon's adopter needs to be in METRO ATLANTA so he can continue to see the eye specialist. We understand this is a commitment but he is so worth it!

His adoption fee is $350, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, dental, and heartworm testing.
Landon is not suited for an apartment or condo due to being a vocal schnauzer.
