Norma Jean is a 5 year old, 13 lb Miniature Schnauzer. Though initially shy, once she comes out of her shell, she will be your best friend.

Norma Jean is a total snuggle bug - she loves to snuggle in bed or on the couch with her foster parents. She is glued to their sides and lays in a dog bed near them when they're on the computer or doing other tasks. She adores other dogs but isn't playful with them. She likes to snuggle up with other dogs, and she feels most comfortable around them. Because of this reason, we are REQUIRING another dog in her forever home. Norma is also good with cats and can be found snuggling up with them, too.

She is crate-trained and has done well with potty training in her foster home. She freezes on a leash, so she REQUIRES a fenced in yard so she can safely go potty. She is a wonderful little girl who loves chewing on dental treats and spending time with the people and pets she loves. A lot of noise makes her nervous, so a home with children would not be a match.

Norma Jean has dry eye and is on Optimmune to lubricate her eyes. Without this medication, her eyes get a lot of build up on them and she can't see, plus it is uncomfortable. This is a life-long condition for which she will always require medication. She takes her medication like a champ, though!
