My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hudson was surrendered due to no fault of his own. The youngest toddler in the home was severely allergic to Hudson and their pediatrician strongly recommended to rehome him. He has lived with children and a cat and gets along with other dogs. Hudson is housebroken and knows basic commands. He's gentle and friendly with kids. Though he is a senior, he acts much younger - he loves going to long walks and can easily walk 3-5 miles a day with you if you are so inclined. Buddy loves to get his belly scratched and sleep on the bed or the couch if allowed (otherwise in a dog bed in the kitchen). He does try to eat everyone's food so you have to keep it out of reach. He's extremely friendly and adorable - everybody loves him. Hudson is about 9-10 years old and 30 pounds. Please help Hudson find the loving home he deserves to live out his golden years.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Hudson's adoption fee is $250. This also covers all age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, vetting & microchipping.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
