Basil is an approximately 5 year old cat with a very affectionate and laidback personality! He has been through a lot in his life, having been a survivor of a hoarding case years ago, and recently being returned to another rescue due to his previous family not "having any time" for pets since having a baby. Doesn't this sweet boy deserve better? You would never guess that this chilled out, loving, absolute perfect cat had such a rough past. All he needs is a fresh start with a home for the holidays.

Basil loves having a little hidey hole or cat tree to curl up in. Then he can stick his head out and receive the pets and scritchies he loves. He is a little shy with new people, but if you give him patience, he becomes the ultimate snuggly friend. He does great with other cats, would probably be fine with dogs, and always uses the litter box. He recently had dental work, and is ready to get going with his new life and start anew.

Life has not been kind to sweet Basil, but he is such a forgiving and amazing cat. This boy deserves the happiness and stability he's always wanted. Are you able to provide that for him?
