Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Lila is a sweet 2-year old female Plott Hound/American Pit Bull Terrier mix arrived at the HSOV on November 13, 2023 after she was picked up on Germantown Road (at the 8-mile marker) in the Lower Salem Ohio area by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff. Lila was wearing a collar but, unfortunately, there was either an id tag nor a dog tag on her collar .. And she was not microchipped.
Lila has a shiny dark brown/brindle-and-white coat, white toes on her front paws, a long tail, and a lovely symmetrically-marked face with dark brown eyes, a dark chocolate nose, and large semi-erect ears.
This little lovebug has a super-friendly outgoing personality and is a pushover for attention. Lila was full of playful energy when HSOV Kennel Tech Madison Lee accompanied her for outdoor photos late in the afternoon on November 13th.
Lila weighs 52 lbs and is fairly strong/energetic on a leash.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Lila will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Surely someone is missing this sweet girl.
NOTE: We've learned that Lila does not do well with cats and cannot be trusted to be nice to them.
