My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight is a playful love bug who is 1 1/2 years old and 50 lbs lbs. He was rescued from a crowded shelter where he was overlooked and is now safe in foster care. He's one of our Diamond Dogs with a reduced adoption fee of $125.

Midnight does great with other dogs but would do just fine as an only pet. He is neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. Midnight loves to snuggle and lay in your lap to catch a nap. He also loves playing with his toys and other dogs. Midnight loves attention and being with people. Midnight is crate and housed trained. We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
