Sassy turned 9 years old on 9/1. She was given to me by a friend in June 2023, who was moving away. She's use to having a yard to run around in. I live in an upstairs apartment, and can't take her out as much because it hurts to keep walking up and down the stairs. Because she isn't use to being shut in, she goes on my floor or in her crate. I have arthritis in both hands and one knee, so it's painful to cup my hands to clean her messes. This isn't the life that Sassy is use to and she deserves more than I can give her. She is very loving, playful and loves being swaddled in a blanket like a baby. However, she barks when my 1 particular neighbor walks by.
