Meet Ember. She is a purebred, all white, 46 lb standard poodle. She turns 3 next month.
She is spayed, current on vaccines, chipped, and had a wonderful exam with our vet and has been cleared to find a home all her own.
She is fully house trained. She is crate trained, and does very well in a crate if needed. She does however sleep on a dog bed in our room at night that she loves. She is leash trained, and walks really well.
She is amazing with other dogs, but is a total princess and loves all eyes on her. If you are petting another dog she is one who will come and insist on pets too. She is a sweetheart, and a total companion dog. She loves affection however she can get it. She has amazing house manners, and has on occasion slept in the living room overnight completely unattended and did perfect. She lived in a home with cats prior to coming here; that she loved immensely too so if you are a cat loving home, she is definitely your girl!!! She is amazing on road trips of any length, loves her spa days at our groomer and is perfect for her groomer every time. She is not an excessive barker whatsoever but will alert you of unfamiliar noises. She will "greet" some dogs, and people alike with a quick bark or two, but it's not mean, or aggressive by any means. It's more of a "hi!!!... hello!!!" Kinda energy ❤️ She is a very happy girl, and her tail never stops wagging, especially when she is with her human 🙃 She loves to play, and will chase balls, or toys. She is not your super high energy dog at all but will definitely keep up with you on walks, or hikes of any kind. She is adventurous yet has a beautiful, calm, serene side to her as well that helps you enjoy two amazing sides to her 💗
Her prior owners went back to work, and while their cats were fine with their absence, Ember struggled. They noticed her losing her spunk. She wasn't her happy self anymore and was depressed all day. They didn't want her to live her life like that, and instead of being selfish and keeping her their for themselves. At the end of the day it was about Ember's happiness so they reached out to us and asked us to find her the best home possible, so here we are!!!
Adoption fee is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org It covers all vetting, time and care since with us, and her training.
