Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
1 Housetrained-Lionel is house trained. I usually go out in the backyard with him or leash him and take him out front. His caregiver needs to be mindful of giving him opportunities to relieve himself, he does not really signal that he has to go. His signals are subtle.
2 Good with dogs-He is fine with small dogs. Large dogs frighten him a bit, but I think he would warm up to a friendly one. The encounters with other dogs were with other leashed dogs, I did not have any other pets in the home.
3 I would say he is good with cats, based on encounters with cats on the street,
4 He is okay with older kids, he has not been tested with infants or toddlers. I would guess he would be fine based on his personality.
5 He is an easy walker, He likes to meander and investigate scents. He is fine in a crate in a car.
6 All that was written was that he arrived after an AWC. He had a large tumor on his penis resulting in his penis being removed. IMO, he has completely recovered from the procedure. - 1 He is receptive to cuddling but is not overly affectionate. He sleeps on his bed.
2 He doesn`t play with toys, but will sometimes move the toys to his bed. He likes to play hide n seek and run around.
3 Low activity. He spends a good part of the day sleeping on his bed.
4 His eyes tell me that he has had a stressful life and is so grateful and happy that that has changed.
5 Adjectives: calm, loving, eager to please.
6. He rarely barks, Is pleased when he is given attention. Will initiate petting sessions. Is attentive to correction.
7. He doesn`t appear to be anxious about anything, except being left alone in a dark yard. He loves attention. If you raise your voice or scold he will look to you for assurance and he has a desire to please you.
8.He likes to play hide and seek. Honestly, the best thing about him is he is the lowest maintenance dog I have ever had. He will sit and raise his paw unprompted to let you know that he is receptive and submissive.
10. Physically, he is a cute, mostly white dog. He can smilte.
11. I think that the ideal home would consist of one or two relatively quiet people who can take him on long walks and can be aware of when he would need to go out to pee. This animal had his penis removed and has a urethra more like a female`s. IMO a kind and sympathetic LBGTQ home would be a good fit. - 1. Medical issue not previously discussed woul
