Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rocket is a a mini Australian shep mix. She and her sister came from a family with 30 dogs, and she survived Parvo. Dad is a 35 lbs fluffball. Rocket weighs 28lbs and was born on 2/21/2023. She is petite and easy to manage.
Rocket is a gentle and snuggly pup. While she is non-stop when playing, she also melts into your lap and will be cuddly quiet and innocent. Her favorite place is snuggled up behind her foster dad's head on the couch.
A fenced yard would be perfect; Rocket loves being outside and each butterfly gets the attention it deserves!
She adores other dogs, and she is a little timid meeting new people. When she meets strangers, she either barks, or becomes quiet and hides in a corner. Once you are in her inner circle, there is love and kisses to no end. Her true self shows after she builds trust. She bonds well to her people.
Rocket is that expert snuggler that keeps your lap warm and is a playmate to all the newbies and puppies.
Rocket's got house-training down and learned the doggie door. Leash walking requires the strength of a wrestling champion, but Rocket does love her walks!
PLEASE NOTE:
We review veterinary care for applicants. This includes regular well visits, core vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm, tickborne tests, regular monthly heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention. Please contact your veterinarian’s office to give them permission to speak to us.
Applications are available at www.puppypawsrescue.org
If your application meets our adoption criteria, we will contact you within 1 week. At that time, you will be contacted (usually by email) to schedule a phone interview and a virtual home visit (Facetime, Skype, etc). Due to the volume of applications, applications that do not move forward to an interview may not receive a reply within that time frame.
