Here's what the humans have to say about me:
See our website at spokanewienerdogs.org and the To Adopt page please.
The mom Macie and two female pups have pending homes. The three males still need new homes. They are scheduled to be neutered on January 8th so can be placed after that. They were born on November 3..
Macie was a transfer from another rescue with four other females that we have now placed. After she was here for a few days we quickly realized she was pregnant. She had five healthy babies and once those pups are weaned she will be spayed and available for adoption in January.
Her puppies will also be available for adoption too, three boys and two girls. Daddy was a rolling stone. or a mystery man before anyone asks. She came to us as a stray so we will hazard a guess as the breed of daddy when the pups are around six or seven weeks old. Again we are not breeders and this girl is a true foster.
I have no clue why Macie was dumped at an orchard when she is sweet, well mannered, mellow, quiet and well trained. This is a very nice dog and easy to handle. She asks to go potty and come inside so she has had some housebreaking training in the past.
She is an amazing mother also. She had the pups all by herself and is doing a great job with them.
Macie is very calm and quiet too so not sure of her breed but she is a small girl. Once she gains some weight back from feeding pups I think she will be around 14 pounds at most. Whoever adopts her will love her I guarantee it.
You will need a secure fenced yard so no apartments, town homes, condos, invisible fencing, etc., when in town when adopting from us for hunting breeds. Thanks.
