Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Josie is heart worm free and ready to be adopted! Boston Terrier / Feist Mix. 2 years old, 34 lbs.
Josie was found in a creek and had been there for over a month during the summer. Someone dropped her there. She was broken spirited, starving, in horrible shape and extremely skittish.
Since then Josie has learned to love and how to be loved! She is so grateful and appreciative that she was saved!
Josie is potty trained and crate trained. She uses the doggy door and doesn’t need to stay in the crate when we leave. She does fine when left out of the crate, she chills on the recliner or bed. Although, she has mistaken my house shoe for a stuffed animal a couple of times. My bad, I should of put my house shoes away.
Josie knows several commands such as stay, come, sit, and go lay down. I can snap my fingers and hold up my hand and she will sit. She is super intelligent!
Some of the things Josie enjoys is snuggling, giving hugs, smiling at you and others, belly rubs, taking walks or runs, napping in the sun, watching the birds, playing with other dogs, going on outdoor adventures, playing in the water, and boating.
My only suggestion for Josie is that she be placed in a calm environment. I’ve noticed when my voice gets loud she gets nervous. She must’ve endured that type of behavior before she was saved.
Josie will be 2 on Christmas Day. (Obviously, we aren’t positive of that birthday) She weighs 34 lbs and has so much love to offer a new family. She’s absolutely a precious, loving little girl!
She is familiar with water and boating!
