Charlie Ferus is a handsome guy who was scheduled to be put down at an Orlando shelter due to fear when Sarah Leddick decided to save him from such a sad fate. He is a tall Aussiedoodle weighing in at 55 lbs. and approximately 2 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated, chipped and has gained weight since he arrived at the shelter emaciated! He is now healthy, loving, filled out, and rambunctious! He loves to play with other dogs, and loves to go for walks, especially to the dog park. He is a little leery of strangers so a person with rescue experience with their own home and a fenced in yard would be the best fit. Lots of people coming and going at his home would not be advised for now. He is a runner so would need to have a secure front door since he thinks it's funny to race out the door to go for a run. He is non-reactive to cats, so could tolerate cats in the home. Mature people working from home would be ideal!! He is currently in Miami but could be transported to other Florida counties. For more information or to schedule a meet-n-greet, please contact Sarah Leddick at (305) 450-2033 or via email at sarahleddick@gmail.com.

Our goal is to make the adoption process as thorough and easy as possible. If you are interested in adopting a dog, the first thing we will ask you to do is complete our online Adoption Application. Upon review of your application, a decision to approve or decline will be made. If approved, we will schedule a time for your to meet the dog you are interested in adopting. If there is a match, a home visit will be conducted before the final adoption decision is made. Once the final approval is made, an Adoption Agreement is signed and the adoption is complete.
