My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ansley, the enchanting Formosan mountain dog waiting to bring warmth and joy to your home! At 1 year and 11 months, this 20.5 kg beauty is not just a pup; she's a bundle of love, fully vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, and microchipped for a healthy start in her new adventure.

Ansley, with her sleek black coat, is a picture of elegance, and her lively spirit adds a dash of excitement to every moment. A connoisseur of quick meals and an expert food-grabber, she'll make mealtime a delightful experience. With impeccable hygiene habits, Ansley is the epitome of a well-mannered companion, making her the perfect addition to any loving home.

In the world of furry friendships, Ansley is a social butterfly! From feline friends to playful pups and giggling children, she's ready to create lasting bonds and fill your home with laughter.

Her journey, from a roadside beggar with her mom Alivia and sibling Anissa, to a loving family member, is a testament to her resilience and spirit. Now, Ansley is on the lookout for a patient and loving novice family to shower with affection.

Could you be the one to complete Ansley's tale of transformation? Adopt this charming cloth-clad sweetheart and let your home be filled with the warmth of her love. Ansley is more than a dog; she's a promise of happiness waiting to unfold in your heart. Adopt, don't shop—give Ansley the forever home she deserves!

Savedogcat Org is a foster based, euthanasia-free, humane animal rescue non-profit organization.

More about this rescue

We are a group of regular people living in Toronto, brought together by destiny under a mission to save displaced pet lives. Though the strength of one is limited, our combined courage makes it possible to guide these small friends through life’s difficulties. Let us treat their illnesses, restore their trust in humans, and foster sympathy in our communities.

Animals give their all for human beings. Over many years, we have seen dogs who sacrificed their lives for their owners. We have seen cats accompanying and comforting their depressed caretakers. If their owners pass away, these pets mourn the loss with genuine sorrow. They try their whole lives to love their owner and the people around them, remaining loyal even through abandonment. They show their love through actions, as they cannot use words to express themselves. To them, we humans are everything. Therefore, it is our duty to recognize and repay this devotion.
