Dixie can be adopted as a solo cat or with another gentle, friendly cat.

Dixie is a beautiful black panther with shiny, silky fur. This sweetheart was found abandoned and pregnant. She was hungry and super skinny, and unfortunately gave birth to two stillborn kittens. She was sad and heartbroken over their loss, and wasn't too sure about humans.

She came to her foster home after being spayed and spent the first few nights calling out to her missing babies. Then a tiny kitten came to the same foster home. Dixie cared for her as if she were her own. She groomed her, showed her how to play, played with her, and cuddled with her so she wasn't lonely.

Dixie's heart is healed, and she is ready for a forever home. Her favorite toy is a soft stuffed mouse that she can bat around and cuddle with. She also loves other cats. Dixie is a bit shy still but she will come for head scratches and pets, and she LOVES treats! With a bit more time and patience, Dixie seems destined to be a snuggly lap cat.
